About the Item
This Chiffonier Semainier belongs to our TRADITION collection, which takes its design and inspiration from the French countryside "proviincial" style, also called "Campagne chic" and finished with soft and charming lacquers.
Semainier is the French word for "weekl-er". The six drawers are for each day of the week, except Sunday which was the Lord's day.
This piece is made 100% of solid French cherry wood. Our solid wood comes exclusively from sustainably managed French forests.
Each drawer's front is mounted with front drawers , each lacquered with a different color.
The knobs are made of brass.
The drawers are 46 cm wide, 14 cm high and 30 cm deep, inside.

GONTIER is established in France since 1920 and is now a brand of MON PETIT MEUBLE FRANCAIS group. It provides you exclusively with 100% made in France classical and contemporary pieces of furniture.
The manufacture of each furniture is made accordingly to traditional French techniques of woodworking by small craft workshops in the western countryside of France (Loire Valley and Bretagne).
We offer a 5 year warranty on each piece.

MON PETIT MEUBLE FRANCAIS is a new brand launched in September 2018 by Eric Weiler (founder) and Eric Gizard (designer). We deliver 100% made in France high-end and top quality furniture pieces. Main material is wood, mainly ash, oak and cherry. Our wood comes exclusively from sustainably managed French forests. The craft-handed manufacture in the Loire Countryside and Bretagne ensures robustness and a very long life cycle for each piece. All our models are already fully assembled in our workshops. Eric Gizard is a famous French Designer in Paris and works several Fashion and Luxury Brands. He sublimates with his very fluid and elegant design each piece of our collections EGEE and KUBE. More over and previous to the launch of MON PETIT MEUBLE FRANCAIS, in 2010, Eric Weiler took over an old cabinet-maker named GONTIER established in France since 1920. French Traditional pieces and new designed models from GONTIER are also proposed on 1st Dibs.
