Antique English Georgian mahogany diminutive chest of drawers A small-scale George II chest of drawers. Dating circa 1750 Comprised of four long graduating drawers with original brass oval pull handles and escutcheons. Standing on bracket feet. A fine example. Presented in excellent condition commensurate with age.

The chest has handmade dovetail construction, with a shaped apron below the two drawers, standing on squat cabriole legs and a pad foot. Made in two sections. The chest interior is 87cm wide x 45cm deep x 30cm high. Condition report - With the original patina and brass wear. There are some knocks and marks expected with a piece of this age. The beading on the drawers has some damage. The top has some polish loss in one place, you should be able to make this out in the photographs. There is damage to one hinge, this has had some later screws added. The lid opens and closes well, and is not loose. The chest lock...
