Antique French Provincial Louis XV Style Bombe Chest of Drawers

An elegantly sophisticated French Provincial Louis XV style bombe chest of drawers commode.
Exquisitely hand-crafted in France in the late 19th century, featuring a handsome dark rich finish, well formed and gracefully curvacious silhouette, having a shaped rectangular wooden top with serpentine molded edge, over conforming fine quality heavy solid wooden case fitted with four drawers, retaining the original ornate patinated brass hardware, flanked by smooth rounded front columns, hand-carved Rocaille elements throughout, elegant undulating scalloped apron, rising on short cabriole legs ending in scroll whorl feet.

A superb example, in excellent shape overall, outstanding nicely aged patina over the whole, enhanced by beautiful wood grain detailing and rich dark tone, elegant warmth and luminous depth.
Very strong, sturdy, stable and structurally sound. Presents splendidly. May have minor age appropriate wear, nothing that detracts from the display or functionality, but only adds to the charming antique character, rustic warmth, and overall refined elegance.
Delivered deep cleaned, hand waxed, polished French patina finish, ready for immediate use, and many, many more years of generational enjoyment!
