Beautiful Roman Marquetry Commode, 18th Century Period
About the Item
Very beautiful chest of drawers from the 18th century, in marquetry, curved on the front and on the sides, 2 drawers, and topped with a marble marquetry top in quadrifoglio of yellow marble with green border (typical work of the Rome region, with the edge of a different color).
Condition as is, with some defects in the marquetry and marble (see photos); old restorations to the slots on the sides, with a wooden key.
