About the Item
Elegant chest of drawers opening with three drawers in two rows. Work "without cross" inlaid on all sides with flowers in rosewood and violet wood reserves. Beautiful ornamentation of chiseled and gilded bronzes screwed to the furniture. Good manufacturing quality from the beginning of the 20th century. Stamped on the uprights and in the drawer "Gouffé". Luxury furniture manufacturing house founded in 1907, located in a building at 46-48 Faubourg Saint-Antoine in Paris. This chest of drawers can be dated around 1920. Very good condition. Veined pink and white marble top. Closes with its original keys.
