Early Georgian Mahogany Chest on Chest with Original Fretted Brass Hardware

About the Item

An early Georgian chest on chest of imposing size and beauty. The mahogany has lovely patina and mellow grain. Original brasses are in good uniform antique condition. Reeded corners on the body of the piece and cockbeaded drawers add further period style. Drawers are quite clean and slide easily for a piece of this age. Bracket feet are original.
