English Bleached Oak 19th Century Geometric Front Carved Three Drawer Chest
About the Item
An English bleached oak geometric front chest from the 19th century with three drawers, carved diamond motifs, ornate hardware and great rustic character. Created in England during the 19th century, this bleached oak chest features a rectangular planked top with beveled edges, sitting above a geometric front façade. Three drawers, made of molded panels with raised accents, are accented with carved diamond motifs and fitted with ornate pulls. The sides are adorned with molded frames and the back is, of course, unfinished. Boasting great rustic character revealing its good age and use, the chest is raised on four ogee bracket feet with nicely weathered appearance. With its clean lines and perfectly symmetrical décor, this English bleached oak geometric front three drawer chest from the 19th century will bring a touch of rustic elegance to any home, perhaps placed in a bedroom or living room, topped with a pair of candlesticks, a lamp or a vase.
