Fine Eighteenth Century Serpentine Commode

About the Item

A fine fruitwood serpentine commode, the shaped top with cross banded veneers and two central lozenge motifs in limewood, above four long graduated drawers, the fronts decorated with panels of lime, olive and walnut and with original steel locks to interior on short cabriole legs. Malta, Late Eighteenth century.
