Fine Pair of Inlaid Marble Top Commodes
About the Item
Fine pair of veneered and inlaid commodes in various woods with original marble tops. The fronts are centered by a neoclassical vase with floral bouquets, bordered with leaves.
Attributed to furniture designer Giuseppe Maggiolini (Parabiago, 1738-1814).
Provenance:
Santa Margherita Ligure, formerly Villa Durazzo Centurione. Rome, private collection of heirs.
