French Turn of the Century Wood Navy Chest with Brass Hardware

About the Item

A small French natural wood navy chest from the early 20th century, with brass hardware. Created in France during the early years of the 20th century, this small navy chest, inspired by those made for the "officiers de la marine", features a rectangular top sitting above four drawers (two small ones over two larger ones), fitted with linear brass hardware. Flanked with small handles on the sides allowing the piece to be moved more easily, the chest is resting on four bracket feet. Boasting a natural patina, this French Turn of the Century navy chest circa 1900 will make for a great addition to any bedroom or living room.
