Highly Decorated Bronze Mounted Inlaid Fancy Italian Bombe Form Commode Chest
About the Item
This is a very intricately inlaid bronze mounted commode. The form is bombe with gorgeous bronze mounts and incredible highly figured walnut and satinwood. The commode has lighter and darker shades of walnut that appear to be inclusions in the wood itself and not stains and were specifically chosen to add interest to the piece. Measures 32.5 tall x 35 wide x 16.5 deep. Dates to the 1940s era.
