An Italian Neoclassic Style 2-Drawer Side Chest w/Pull Out Shelf
About the Item
A vintage Neoclassic style painted wood two-drawer side chest from Italy. This small sized chest from Italy, circa late 20th century, is a very well made piece with lots of nicely carved details. It has been designed in Neoclassical influences; with canted side posts flute-carved, delightful tulip trimming about the drawers with their wreath and bow-tie carved centers, and spiraled ribbon trimming about the skirt. There is a pull-out shelf recessed between the top and the upper drawer. There is a custom finish in taupe and grey. This Italian Neoclassic-style side chest would make a great option along a bedside or perhaps between a pair of chairs in an intimate conversational setting.
