Italian Raised Two-Drawer Burled-Wood Veer Chest

About the Item

An Italian raised chest of two drawers with burled wood veneer. This vintage chest from Italy is abundant with softly curved lines; a top with rounded front corners and a shallow convex front, a slightly bowed body, single scallops adorning the center along on three skirt sides, and raised on shapely legs that gently taper towards their feet. A gorgeous burled wood veneer throughout the body speaks for the simple elegance of this piece. The chest houses two drawers, each fitted with a pair of really neat pulls in upward fanned leaf shapes. This Italian raised chest, with it's unique hardware and beautiful burled veneer, is approximately 3.5 feet in width and would be suitable for just about any room in your home.
