Murano White Glass and Brass Commode Chest of Drawers, 1990
About the Item
Beautiful commode in typical Italian style with beautiful Murano glass rods. This chest of drawers has a very luxurious and elegant look due to the use of uncommon materials.
The chest of drawers is composed of a squared wooden body on which narrow cream-colored Murano glass rods have been inserted; between one stick and the other one can notice a light space polished in black shellac. The body of the dresser contains two drawers that can be opened by lightly pressing the front of the same drawer; on the drawers, like the body of the chest of drawers, the rods in cream colored Murano glass have been inserted. The top of the chest of drawers is in cream-colored glass like the rods, and is edged with a polished brass profile. The leg is central and has its own particular design as you can see from the photos. Created from Marco Seghetti for our store Hannauroma, the commode is unique and original in its kind.
