Pair of Italian 18th Century Neo-Classical St. Walnut, Ormolu, and Brass Chests

About the Item

A stunning and extremely decorative pair of Italian 18th century Neo-Classical st. walnut, ormolu, and brass chests. Each four drawer chest is raised by handsome block supports with a mottled design and a Fine wrap around ormolu band. Impressive architectural columns lead up each side decorated with striking ormolu plinths and capitals flanking the three central drawers. The three central drawers showcase the stunning wood grain which extends across each drawer and support. Above each column are lovely inlaid brass foliate designs centering the top drawers which also showcase the beautiful flamed wood grains with intricately detailed brass inlaid scrolled foliate movements. Above are the French polished tops highlighting the beautiful wood grain.
