Royal antique pomp chest of drawers after J. Henri Riesener, Paris from 1880, gilded bronze
Various precious woods, veneered on a solid oak body. In the center marquetry in the form of stylized flowers and a pair of birds on a flower basket. Fire-gilt and extremely finely chased bronze fittings. In the middle an elaborately designed bronze picture relief depicting puttis
Body with two large and three small drawers, on conical richly bronzed feet. Frame also crowned with rich bronze ornaments.
Light multi-pass curly and mottled marble slab.
Lock with key available.
Model after J. Henri Riesener, Paris, late 19th century
Province: Berlin Jewish art collector, Krahmer.
