Vintage Danish Rosewood Drawer Units by Stil i Stål Denmark, 1960s. Set of 2.
Pair of Danish Mid-Century Modern pedestal cabinets with three drawers each manufactured by Stil i Stål A/S, Helsinge, Denmark.
Frame in black steel with four chromed casters. Drawer module with three plastic drawers and a shelf on top. Underneath is an open shelf suitable for binders.
Very beautiful and expressive rosewood/palisander veneer on all sides. Backs are also finished, so they can be used freestanding.
Makers mark on back on both units.
Originally designed as filling units for office use, but also very suitable as bedside tables or side tables. A very elegant and stylish mix of industrial and Scandinavian Mid-Century Modern design
Good original condition with only light patina consistent with age and use. Small veneer chip, please see photo.
