We are delighted to offer for sale this stunning Biedermier flamed walnut chest of drawers, circa 1850 A magnificent looking and well-made piece in lovingly restored condition throughout The walnut veneer is some of the nicest most premium cuts I have ever seen, it has been worked by a master craftsman, usually with veneers if your lucky they will use the same cut from drawer to drawer so they match, on the higher end models they use a flowing cut which means the grain or patina is perfectly sawn and matching progressively from one drawer to another, on the absolute finest pieces like this the flow of the timber is complete from drawer to timber brace between and on to drawer again, it is as seamless as if you were looking at the timber freshly cut from the tree The piece has been fully restored to include a complete wood worm treatment, any issues have been waxed filled, its then been timber waxed hand and polished, this genuinely is an exquisite piece of furniture Dimensions: Height:- 95cm Width:- 131cm Depth:- 56.5cm Please note all measurements are taken at the widest point This item is available for collection from our Wimbledon warehouses.
