Original White Painted Corner Cupboard Cabinet, Sweden circa 1820-40
About the Item
It is the incredible aged patina of the pine that draws one to this traditional Swedish corner cupboard.
The original white painted finish with green undertones has been gently scraped to reveal the natural pine below, revealing a warm, aged patina. Traces of underlying gray, green and even yellow tones are visible in the exterior, which has a layered texture to it.
This lovely corner cabinet is restored and is in solid condition. A key is used to open the upper and lower doors.
While built in two sections, a piece of wood was added to provide greater stability(seen in back photo). This can be removed for shipping and installation.
Any scratches, cracks, dings, or age related separation are reflective of age and do not detract from the beauty nor function of this special accent table.
