About the Item
20th century neoclassical painted corner cabinet ~ bookcase that has a splendid European feel. The mitered corners project the piece out into the room, yet its impact on the floor plan is minimal due to utilizing otherwise unused corner space. Fluted pilasters frame the facade revealing the lovely green-painted interior of the piece. The upper tier is comprised of three carved open shelves to display china, books, etc. There is a single drawer below and the lower cabinet doors open to the same lovely green-painted interior and host two additional shelves for storage. The cornice is decorated with panels on the lower doors that are faux painted in a lovely cream marbleized pattern which has achieved a lovely patina over the years making this piece a truly special piece and perfect for adding the finishing touch to your decor!
