18th Century Flemish Neoclassical Credenza ~ Sideboard in Stripped Oak

About the Item

18th Century Flemish Neoclassical Credenza ~ Sideboard in Stripped Oak is a timeless reminder of the impact of the ancient Greek and Roman civilization across the millennia! The lower height of this design makes it useful in any room, including behind a desk, under a big flat panel TV, or just as a great serving piece with lots of storage. Visually the design is divided into three sections separated by tailored corbels and pilasters created by molded detail. Between the corbels appear three drawers with double brass knobs, and the center section contains two larger drawers with a more complex molding design but with the pair of brass knobs for consistency. Flanking the center drawer section are two cabinets with cast brass key guards and knobs for easy access to the surprising storage within. Six contoured legs underneath the base molding provide sturdy yet stylish support. Pegged mortise & tenon joinery is evident throughout the design, and the solid plank top and hand-chamfered back panels were designed to last for centuries. Painstakingly stripped using our proprietary process that retains the patina and sheer natural beauty of the old wood, all performed by our expert in-house staff. Circa 1760s Measures 35H x 96W x 22D Available for pickup in the Dallas Design District, Dallas, TX.
