1940's Oak Industrial Chest

About the Item

An industrial oak chest or cabinet from 1940's England. We believe the grooves on the front and back interior of each drawer, shown in thumbnails, may speak to the piece's past as a typesetting cabinet, map or printer's cabinet, blueprint cabinet or art storage chest. The slats on the side indicate that the piece may have been a component in a larger unit. Quite smart looking and the oak drawers have nice color and patina.
