About the Item

Fine George III style inlaid mahogany credenza of unusually narrow size by leading London manufacturers Wright and Mansfield, having rosewood and holly crossbanded top over bank of drawers with original brass hardware over four cabinet doors with inlaid oval panels and standing on turned fluted legs. The center drawer is stamped "Wright and Mansfield - 104 New Bond Street." The firm was active at that address in 1871 Wright and Mansfield were in business between 1861 and 1885.
