Founded in 2017, Ben Kicic is a research-based design firm based in New York City, centered around the belief that design is a gesture toward simplicity, small details, livability, and practicality.
To that end, the studio creates objects and interiors that engage in a dialogue with functionality, art, culture, and material history.
Ben Kicic's practice is the culmination of over a decade of experience as a designer, working with various design firms before establishing his own practice. Drawing inspiration from the hidden contours that shape contemporary life, his work is an exploration of the language of objects, materials, and spaces—a meditation on how we live, what we value, and why.
The studio regularly produces collections of furniture, lighting, and objects, as well as offering services for private residential interiors.

Ben Kicic
Ben Kicic is a design studio located in Brooklyn, New York. Our practice carries a minimalist aesthetic that guides our methods toward a quiet clarity. We produce objects that are expressions of our values: to be subtle, maintain a playful sense of humor, and be meaningful. In order for design to be a conversation around functionality, it must closely observe art, culture, and material history - the hidden contours that shape our understanding of contemporary life. Our studio is an exploration into the vibrant language of objects, materials and spaces, a lively meditation on how we live, what we value, and why.
