CHARLES I, OAK & INLAID COURT CUPBOARD Yorkshire, England, Circa 1630 The frieze gauge carved to three sides, raised on baluster and reel-turned end-columns, enclosing two recessed panelled cupboard doors, each door having a floral marquetry-inlaid panel within a arch-carved frame, the central fixed panel flanked by flat run-moulded rails, a pair of triple-panelled cupboard doors below, each with gauge carved upper panels, conforming top-rail, on flat run-moulded stile supports.
