19th Century, English Pine Cabinet Hand Painted Trompe l'Oeil Paneling

About the Item

English, 19th century. A beautiful antique English pine cupboard cabinet which has 8 individually painted panels to the exterior showcasing fruit, vegetables, books, wine bottles, books and cooking pots. The Trompe L'oeil paintings are done very well and are most definitely done by an accomplished artist. The front cabinet doors each have a locking mechanism present and open to reveal 6 individual cabinets below a larger open shelf. The interior shows signs of modification from an original 9 cabinet construction.
