Circa 1700 Quartersawn Oak English Hanging Cupboard with Tombstone Panel Door
About the Item
An antique Chippendale style hanging cupboard, unbranded. Handcrafted of quartersawn oak with crown molding to the top, a tombstone panel door, serpentine shaped brass hinge hardware, an ogee edge to the base, and metal wall hangers attached to the top of the back. Features an interior with two fixed wood shelves. Door has a functioning lock and one key is included. Likely made in England, or the American Colonies, circa 1700.
