Large 18th Century Open Library Bookcase
About the Item
A large open display cupboard/bookcase. Made in Mantua Italy at the end of the 18th century for a monastery from local poplar and pine. Beautifully proportioned neoclassical style with ionic kapitels and fine moulding. Hidden doors in the colomns and corners. Scraped down to the original paint.
