Wimbledon-Furniture is delighted to offer for sale this stunning original Charles II 1674 carved oak bureau depicting a hunting scene Where to start, what a stunning rare find, the condition for the age is excellent, there are naturally a few period faults, one of the handles is missing and the pin for the top part of the little middle cupboard inside the bureau is missing, otherwise it’s a lovely rare find The color is actually a fair bit darker than the pictures show, the camera flash is very strong so it looks lighter The carved top panel is exquisite, I’ve never seen such detail on a piece like this before, the pedestals reveal lovely campaign style drawers which is a nice surprise, the desks main body also has a large almost hidden sliding platform We have deep cleaned hand condition waxed and hand polished it from top to bottom Dimensions Height: 104.5cm Width: 91.5cm Depth: 54cm Please note all measurements are taken at the widest point This item is available for collection from our Wimbledon warehouses SW19-3BE, we can have it delivered nationwide to include Scotland Wales and Ireland.
