17th Century Antique Quality Oak Bureau with Outstanding Interior

About the Item

17th century antique quality oak bureau boasting an outstanding interior and having a quality oak fall with a reading slope opening to reveal an incredible serpentine shaped interior consisting of eight serpentine shaped drawers, four secret drawers, eight pigeon holes, serpentine shaped door flanked by a pair of reeded pull out sliding compartments and a sliding well above two short and two long oak lined drawers with original brass handle, mouldings around the drawers and standing on shaped bracket feet. A marvellous example of this period displaying fabulous aged related patination. Measures: H 106.5 x W 97 x D 59cm. To fall 75.5cm. Date 1680.
