1890s Antique English Carlton Writing Desk with Mahogany and Inlay Veneers

Step into the past with our beautifully hand-crafted antique English lady writing table desk, a masterpiece from the 1890s known as the Carlton Desk. This exquisite piece has been meticulously restored by our professional in-house team of craftsmen, maintaining its original mahogany color which has been only waxed and polished to preserve its lustrous patina finish. The desk features a leather tabletop newly dyed in dark green, enhancing its elegant appearance. It includes a detailed carved gallery in the center and two small cabinets on the sides adorned with intricate inlay veneer details and detailed with a brass gallery. These cabinets are equipped with small storage spaces and document dividers, making them perfect for organizing. The interior compartments are clean and ready for use. The bottom section of the desk houses a large central drawer and six additional small drawers, providing extensive extra storage space. The desk is supported by four front carved tapered legs and two at the back, each beautifully detailed with fine inlay and equipped with original brass caster wheels for easy movement. All drawers and doors feature brass handles and locks, ensuring they open and close with ease.
