19th Century French Empire Mahogany Architect's Desk


This is a superb early 19th century French Empire architect's desk and table having both a beautifully figured mahogany and tooled leather work surface. The table has a folding and ratcheted top above a frieze that is fitted with a central drawer and side flaps. The desk top is supported by straight tapering legs ending in brass caps.
