About the Item

A beautifully proportioned 19th century French style writing table or desk, crafted in walnut with a lovely pattern walnut top with a walnut edge band. The carving is nicely detailed around the apron of the table and conceals one drawer that has a lock but not the original key at this point. The cabriolet legs are very graceful in the Louis XV style. We recently re-polished the top which gives it a warm inviting glow while retaining the patina of a stored past. This table would be a wonderful writing desk or would work nicely as a games table or a beautiful presentation table in the foyer View the photos and the video as part of the description.
