What can I say, a 140 year old desk, in one of the best timbers around, made and with an exquisite green leather, gold leaf tooled top and a very nice, plaque which reads as follows PRESENTED TO THE Reverend Frank Fisher on his leaving the Parish by Members of the Congregation at the CHURCH OF THE HOLY SEPULCHRE NORTHAMPTON as a mark of their esteem and friendship Christmas 1883 Its uncommon to find a piece with this kind of history which is illustrated by the personalized plaque, it elevates the history and importance of the desk to something special We have cleaned waxed and polished this from top to bottom, there will be normal age and use related patina marks here and there, nothing that detracts from the age, charm and sophistication of the piece, one handle drop is missing which I would like to note Dimensions Height:- 71.5cm Width:- 139cm Depth:- 69cm Legroom Height:- 57.5cm Width:- 50cm Please note all measurements are taken at the widest point, if you would like any additional or specific measurements please ask.
