Antique Napoleon III Style Desk
About the Item
Napoleon III style mahogany brass mounted double pedestal desk with leather top, circa 1900. With a rectangular top with brass molding on the edges a band of mahogany and an inset tooled leather top, 3 frieze drawers with brass moldings, two pedestals with brass moldings the left pedestal with 3 drawers the right pedestal with two drawers one is a large file drawer resting on turned bun feet.

- Condition:Wear consistent with age and use. Tooled leather top is 21st century. Brass surrounding the top has numerous small dings. Locks have been removed from the drawers. Brass pulls stylistically correct but replaced. 5 small vertical brass inserts on the frieze are missing.
