Fine Quality Yew Wood Writing Table
About the Item
A well-made and handsome Writing Table in Banded Yew Wood. The elevated back section with small banded drawers flanking the cubby holes with carved frames, and a center banded door. The writing surface with carved bull nose edge and green tooled leather over two matching banded frieze drawers with brass bales. The whole raised on turned and fluted legs on quality brass casters. Lacks a key.
Measures L. 49", Depth 25", H. back 40 1/4", H. front 31"
Condition: Please see all detail photos. The overall condition is very good. There are some spots on the banding on the writing surface, scratch to the leather, and some sporadic nicks and light scratches to the wood which do not detract from the fine presentation.
