Wimbledon-Furniture Wimbledon-Furniture is delighted to offer for sale this very rare original 12 drawer 2 cupboard Victorian mahogany luxury premium twin pedestal partner desk with green gold leaf embossed leather top Please note the delivery fee listed is just a guide, it covers within the M25 only, for an accurate quote please send me your postcode A very good looking and substantial early Victorian desk. The leather top is period cattle hide leather, its gold leaf embossed around the edges in an Aztec pattern, the main body is all light mahogany and the pedestals sit on period oversized porcelain castors These desks are called partner desks, they were designed for two “partners” to use in law firm, or perhaps the boss and a secretary We have cleaned waxed and polished it, there are some keys included however the locks are temperamental.
