19th Century Welsh Primitive Cottage Dresser

About the Item

A charming primitive pine cottage dresser of small proportions, in original paint. the single door cupboard opening to reveal a shelved interior and with a simple iron latch. One drawer with turned pulls. Copious amounts of original red paint and also graining, especially to the sides. The upper section with two shelves, painted green and with matching grain patterns to the sides. Original thick solid back. the whole piece with stunning patina and wear. Top removes from the base. First half of the 19th century.
