It is a minimal approach to find a perfect balance between aesthetics and function. The main inspiration for this concept is derived from an artist’s Easel, both structurally and functionally. A user becomes his/her own artist in the rituals of powder and preen. Revealing further more refined details upon closer inspection, the design boasts a captivating contrast of shimmering brass, a full-length mirror, and solid wood, three key materials used in the design. Solid wood drawer cabinets with custom-made brass handles and the dip tray, hold daily essentials and accessories. The design is compact, airy, and space-efficient. The product is made consciously using handpicked solid teak wood, constructed to last as an heirloom using traditional woodworking joinery, and finished using safe and sustainable (zero percent VOC) finishes. Esvee Atelier was established in 2018 by furniture designer Srikanth Varma on the belief that conscious creation leads to conscious consumption. Catering to conscious seekers of safe and artistic living environments both in the subcontinent and the world, the studio’s intention is realised through high-quality design, material, craft, and process.
