Mahogany Inlaid Bombed Dresser in mahogany and fruit woods Louis XV style 19th cent

About the Item

Rare Dutch chest of drawers of convex shape, embellished with floral and bird motif inlays. Moved legs and two front curved drawers. Made of mahogany wood and fruitwood inlays, early 19th century era on the forms and style of the Louis XV period. The dresser is in good condition and fair aesthetic-functional condition. Rare piece of furniture as a Dutch production, certainly created for the market outside Holland, where briarwood furniture of more severe and traditional forms were more in vogue and appreciated.
