Midcentury Credenza by Vittorio Dassi, Italy

About the Item

Italian designer Vittorio Dassi's midcentury credenza is a true work of art. The piece features four beveled drawers, carefully crafted from maple and walnut root, that are embellished with a striking marquetry inlay on the sculptural legs. The intricate details and craftmanship of the piece reflect Dassi's passion for innovative design. Recently, the wood of the credenza underwent professional restoration, using classic techniques that were common during the era when the item was created. This process restored the wood to its original beauty and ensured that it is free from signs of wear and tear. To further enhance the elegance of the piece, it has been given a high-gloss finish that gives it a lustrous shine. The top of the credenza is made from black glass, which provides a striking contrast to the rich wood tones of the piece.
