Vintage White Lacquer over Wood Gentlemen's Sculptural Chest Dresser or Cabinet
About the Item
This amazing sculptural Brutalist meets organic modern meets modern vintage cabinet, gentlemen's chest or dry bar was at one time 8 years ago with high gloss white lacquer over wood. The hinges have been necked silver. It is textural and sculptural in form and presence. The base is an octagonal shape. It is from the 1970s. It can also act as a dry bar. The doors look like undulating movement. This is a winner on all levels. It looks so modern today yet it is from the 1970s.
Please note, this was at one time fully restored and white lacquered. It is now showing some cracks of the wood from age in many places such as corners, on the sides and front panels. We will not be restoring it again. It does need to be fully again restored and perhaps new wood application.. It is vintage piece and sometimes this does happen to the wood. We have not seen another cabinet like this. Please note: this amazing cabinet is now on sale as it needs a total re -restoration of lacquer paint at your end. We again will not be doing it at our end. This is now a great price off the list which was $8,800.00.

This absolutely stunning very gloriously restored Mastercraft white lacquered over mahogany wood long cabinet, buffet or console was a custom piece at the time of 1975. This magnificent piece has door knocker chrome plated over bronze dramatic hardware. They have been all re plated over the bronze as was before. The base is aluminum and has been polished to near perfection. The hinges also have been chrome plated to match. The dramatic and heavy hardware on the doors gives the cabinet a great modern look. The door knockers have been re-- chrome plated to match all the other areas. They are very heavy. While this cabinet has been attributed to the style and work of Tommi Parzinger it is a custom Mastercraft piece. This is now modern, fabulous and timeless. It is 101 inches long.
