Art Deco Satinwood High End Cocktail Cabinet By Epstein Brothers, c1930

About the Item

For your consideration is this high end modernist Art Deco Cocktail Cabinet by Harry and Lou Epstein. Dating to the 1930's this cabinet certainly would not have been in your average home. Most of Epstein's furniture were custom made using only the finest quality materials such as burr maple, sycamore or walnut veneer. This particular cabinet is a design we've not come across before and is likely to be unique. The blonde satinwood ensures this cabinet will fit in effortlessly with either a modern or period looking setting. The top has a mirrored back and a central two glass shelves . A pull out sliding tray to the centre offers an extra useful area for preparing your drinks and cocktails. Below this are two good sized dovetailed drawers which could be used to store cutlery, napkins etc. Art Deco pieces from the first half of the 20th century were not signed. From the 1950s, some pieces were labelled ‘H. & L. Epstein Ltd’ or ‘Epstein & Goldman’. We've had this cabinet fully restored and so is offered in great condition.
