Fine Antique English Original Painted Pine & Ceramic Tile Washstand or Drybar

About the Item

A wonderful ORIGINAL Hand Painted and stencilled Antique English Pine Washstand or Drybar with original ceramic tile backsplash of pear motif tiles (all in great condition). This piece is totally original which is rare because most are either re-painted or made up from later parts and pieces. It is beautifully faux-painted as is the stencilled design. It would make a terrific bar or in a bathroom with a sink or basin set into the top (or a basin just sitting on top). It retains its original bun or ball feet. Two top side by side drawers over two long drawers retaining the original painted wooden knobs. The serving height is 31.5". The waterspots and discoloration on the top is minor, also original and age-appropriate. A great, rare piece! And very functional!
