19th Century Original Mahogany Tailors Bank Of Drawers 19th Century Original Mahogany Tailors Bank Of Drawers. Unusual English bank of drawers from a tailors shop. The drawer unit is beautifully made with panelled construction throughout, dovetail drawers and the original brass hardware. The drawers are a very practical size with an unusually low height of 60cm, typically made lower to allow for display items such as hats on top. Solid mahogany is used throughout except the back panels and drawer bases. Our workshop has fully serviced the cabinet, all drawers run smoothly, the team has fully cleaned and waxed the cabinet to bring out the original rich colour. Internal Drawer dimensions – L62 x H10 x W75 WORKSHOP REPORT Our workshop team inspect every product and carry out any needed repairs to ensure that everything leaves us serviced and maintained ready for many more years of life. All of our vintage products show the rich beauty and history of their life with the knocks and bumps of many years of use and we try to minimise restoration to keep every piece as original as possible.
