Antique Mahogany Regency Etagere, What Not
About the Item
Antique Mahogany Regency Etagere, What Not.
A very nice and unusual three tier Étagère with drawers. The good usable three tier what-not is free standing, constructed from mahogany, with four graduating drawers and raised on four brass cup castors. The four well turned corner supports with strong crisp fluting and intricate carving. The sides with brass rods. A nice clean and original example with original polished finish.
What-nots were exceedingly popular in the first three-quarters of the 19th century in England and were used for displaying china, ornaments or "what nots".
Price is for the etagere only.
