Antique Parisian Polished Brass Thick Glass Display Shelf for Liquor or Glasses
About the Item
French Parisian Bar or Bistro Liquor Bottle Display Shelf Unit, or could have been used to hold glasses, either way, these are extremely difficult to find, especially those that have not been trashed. Seems like every time we purchase something interesting that was used in a commercial environment, they tend to be, shall we say well worn. Fortunately, our French Brass and Glass Shelf Display survived the test of time and after being sent out for straightening and polishing the look is simply beautiful. Thick half-inch Glass Shelves (one small chip) help to finish off the Parisian Bistro Style that so many of us are looking for. We can just as easily image the Brass and Glass Shelf stand being used in a Country French Kitchen. Our Old Plank Restoration Department is just finishing an additional Solid Brass 3-Shelf Stand with solid Walnut Shelves with a Brass inlay detail running around the edge of the shelves. This second Brass Stand is a 3-tier unit with graduated depth shelves and was built to a very high standard. We would guess it probably was used in an upscale Parisian Restaurant and will be listed on 1stdibs very soon.
