English 1840 Mahogany Étagère with Red Marble Top and Baluster Supports

About the Item

An English mahogany free-standing étagère from the mid-19th century, with variegated red marble top and turned supports. Born in England during the first half of the 19th century, this elegant tiered étagère features a red marble top, sitting above three levels of shelves. The ensemble, secured with baluster style turned supports on the sides, is raised on extremely thin bun feet. With its understated presence and elegant lines, this English mahogany étagère circa 1840 will make for a great bookcase in any living room, den or office.
