    In the year 1877, the Swedish Royal library moved into a newly constructed building in Humlegården, Stockholm. The Architect was Gustaf Dahl. On the top 3 floors of the original building, in the book storage areas, these wooden shelves were placed on iron holders built into the house walls. During the 1990s the building was renovated and they were supposed to be thrown away, and if it hadn´t been for a carpenter working with the renovations, they would surely be gone for now.
