About the Item
19th century French Louis Philippe Period Vitrine ~ Confiturier was designed to showcase a particularly cherished collection or family memorabilia. Hand-crafted from dense, old growth indigenous oak, it features the Classic bold crown molding of the genre, with the tailored lines and architecture that defines the period. Fitted with a segmented pane cabinet door glazed with hand-rolled glass, the door opens to reveal a green velvet interior with two shelves contoured to allow display of one tall piece if so required.
